WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Get ready for another heat wave.

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Excessive Heat Watch for our region from noon Wednesday through Saturday night.

It shouldn’t be as uncomfortable as the extreme heat we experienced in late June.

High temperatures will be in the 80s and 90s tomorrow and are expected to reach near 100 in areas on Friday.

We won’t get a lot of nighttime relief either, with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Conditions will increase the potential for heat related illnesses, especially for vulnerable people and those working or exercising outside.
