LYNDEN, Wash. — Supporters of the Agricultural Education Center at the fairgrounds need to raise funds for construction to begin.
The nonprofit Northwest Washington Fair Association, to raise the final funds needed for the new Agricultural Education Center, is hosting a fundraiser Dinner & Auction event at the Expo building at the fairgrounds June 15th.
$450,000 is still needed to complete the $5 million project.
Major pledges have been received by individuals and businesses, and another $1.8 million from the state in the public works construction budget passed by the legislature.
