EDMONDS, Wash. (AP) — Edmonds Police are warning people to be alert after two fake testing sites appeared in that city Tuesday.
The Daily Herald reports one popped up in front of a Starbucks and the other was near the ferry terminal.
Police say fake health care workers asked people to provide personal information at the sites that included folding tables and authentic-looking testing equipment.
The sites have since been removed,
Police had not cited or arrested anyone as of Wednesday afternoon and are continuing to investigate.
