ARLINGTON, Wash. — A crash on I-5 that troopers blame on excessive speed left seven people injured Sunday.

The State Patrol reports six adults and a child from Granite Falls were in an SUV towing a trailer southbound near the Stillaguamish River bridge when the driver lost control.

The vehicle hit a barrier and rolled, blocking the southbound lanes.

Troopers say the driver was going too fast for conditions.

All seven in the car were transported to Providence Hospital in Everett.
