BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man who once made national news when Child Protective Services took his kids is now accused of threatening a judge.

Cleave Goheen-Rengo is being held on $500,000 bail.

He’s facing felony harassment and intimidating a judge charges.

You may remember his family – they claimed the state took their children because of a home birth.

The state says it had several reasons for removing the children and the home birth wasn’t one of them.

Since then, Goheen-Rengo has had run-ins with the law.

He was convicted of unlawful imprisonment earlier this year for trapping caseworkers in an elevator last year.
