FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. – A federal arson charge has been filed against the man who set a massive blaze on Friday Harbor.

The overnight fire on April 6th destroyed the Crystal Seas Kayaking building, a Windermere Real Estate office, and damaged the building housing Crow’s Nest Coffee and Herb’s Tavern.

33-year-old Whidbey Island resident Dwight Christianson Henline has been in custody since April 16th.

Court records did not list an attorney for Henline who might speak on his behalf.

The destroyed buildings date back to the 1880’s and damages are estimated at over $10 million.
