State Attorney General Bob Ferguson has announced a new state program in efforts to help Washington’s local governments.
The new initiative called the Public Records Consultation Program will help local governments fulfill a growing amount of public records requests.
According to a news release from the Attorney General’s office, the program will provide individualized assistance for all local government officials in responding to and completing public records requests and updating public records technology.
