FERNDALE, Wash. – A Saturday morning fire quickly engulfed and heavily damaged a Ferndale construction firm storing flammable liquids and equipment.
Friberg Construction Shop on West 20th Avenue near I-5 went up in flames just after 7 am.
The Bellingham Herald reports the owner, John Friberg, was having coffee with Whatcom County District 7 Fire Chief Gary Russell when the call came in.
Firefighters left the scene by 1pm Saturday.
They don’t know what caused the fire yet.
