FERNDALE, Wash. – A Ferndale man is facing two felony charges after confessing to sexually abusing a family member.

Court documents state that police were notified on December 29th about the man, 61-year-old Luciano Lozano, who told a church pastor about the incident.

The victim told investigators that Lozano touched her inappropriately while watching TV with her siblings, but stopped when her mother saw what was happening.

The mother later told the victim not to tell anyone about the incident, out of fear it would scare her siblings.

Lozano was arrested on January 6th.

He told investigators that what he did was an accident and apologized for his behavior.

He has since been released and will be arraigned later this week on two felony molestation counts.
