FERNDALE, Wash. — Ferndale has a few open slots for temporary positions on City Council.
City of Ferndale Communications Officer Riley Sweeney says two councilmembers have recently resigned.
The Ferndale City Council is looking for applicants to fill the positions for the next six months, until the November election has been certified and the elected councilmembers begin their term.
Applicants should plan to attend the meeting on June 3 to throw their hat in the ring and those selected will begin serving immediately, no campaign necessary.
