FERNDALE, Wash. — Some re-opening news of interest to Ferndale parents.
The City of Ferndale will reopen all playgrounds on October 16th after consulting local public health experts and the neighboring municipalities.
That includes Star Park, Cedar Creek, Flair, Oxford and Vista Ridge parks.
Mayor Greg Hansen says they ask all playground users to practice social distancing, wash their hands frequently and wear a mask.
He says all users age five and older are required to wear a mask and those who are two to four are strongly recommended to do so.
