BLAINE, Wash. – A Ferndale Police Officer has been arrested for attempting to solicit a minor.
Bellingham Police arrested 46-year-old Michael Scott Langton at his home in Blaine on Tuesday night, July 26th.
Langton was booked into the Skagit County Jail.
Police are not releasing any additional details due to the sensitivity of the case.
Langton was previously placed on leave in October after an investigation found that he had communicated with a far-right extremist group.
