FERNDALE, Wash. — The Ferndale Police Department has responded to Governor Jay Inslee’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, the PD said they are not being asked to detain, arrest, or ticket those who don’t comply with Inslee’s stay-at-home order, and rumors of martial law are not true.
Instead, they say their role is educating residents on how to keep themselves and their community safe.
