FERNDALE, Wash. — Ferndale School District Superintendent Linda Quinn says they’re working hard to come up with a plan for the new school year.
She says they’re doing their best to accommodate all families, including some who aren’t ready to send their kids back to school.
She says the seven local district superintendents will meet with the county health department next Tuesday to get their recommendations.
The bottom line, she says, is that they want the kids back but it has to be done safely.
Thursday afternoon, the district’s re-opening task force gave its distance learning curriculum recommendation for secondary students- a program called Edgenuity.
The group said the details regarding K-5 elementary online curriculum are coming soon.
