FERNDALE, Wash. – Ferndale Schools have welcomed two new leaders.

Dr. Kristi Dominguez was sworn in as the district’s new superintendent at a board meeting last Tuesday night, June 21st.

She comes to Ferndale after 30 years with the Bellingham School District, where she served as an elementary school teacher before moving into an early childhood leadership role.

The Ferndale School Board’s new student representative was also introduced at the meeting.

He is incoming Ferndale High School junior Kwabena Ledbetter.
