FERNDALE, Wash. — The Ferndale School District issued a few updates regarding the student who was arrested for making threats of violence to Ferndale High School students last week.
The district says despite recent rumors, the student did not also make a threat against the High School in August.
He did have a prior arrest for similar threats, but it occurred before he was registered for school and the district says they were not notified.
The student has been emergency expelled and plans to get a GED.
