BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Police Department is giving you a good excuse to eat out for lunch or dinner today.

Ten percent of food sales at The Filling Station for Tuesday will be donated to the Bellingham Explorers Program.

The Bellingham Police Explorer Post is a position within the BPD, giving highschool-age community members the opportunity to explore a career in the criminal justice field while serving as a volunteer with the police department.

The Filling Station has two locations — one in Fairhaven on Finnegan Way and the other on Alabama Street in the old Lee’s Drive-In building.
