BELLINGHAM, Wash. – It took awhile, but streaming finally killed the video store.
Film Is Truth 24 Times a Second announced on Facebook that they’ll be closing permanently on April 19th, 2022.
The downtown Bellingham video store opened 25 years ago and offers hard-to-find independent, art and foreign films for rent.
Film Is Truth says they will donate their collection to another local non-profit so it will continue to be accessible to the public.
You can also pop down and buy films from their back catalog until they close on the 19th.
