BELLINGHAM, Wash. — All three people suspected in a burglary and assault at a home in Laurel last week are now in custody.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says Steven Dale Scharton turned himself in and was arrested without incident on Tuesday after fellow suspect Danielle Coakley was arrested in Snohomish County.

Coakley, Scharton and a third suspect, Antini Saselli, are accused of a home invasion burglary the morning of July 3rd, in which deputies say the two men attacked the victim with knives leaving him with multiple injuries.

Saselli was also injured in the assault and was arrested later that day when he was found staggering down the Guide Meridian.
