Fire damages three Bellingham businesses

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A fire damaged three Bellingham businesses late Tuesday night.

Assisant Fire Chief Bill Hewett says Interior Doors & More, Bio Bug Pest Management and an office for Cruisin’ Coffee are in the building at 1331 Meador Avenue.

He says the fire started in the shop area of Interior Doors and More, which was gutted by the fire.

Steve Cornwell owns Bio Bug.

He says his business didn’t burn but was damaged.

Cornwell says Cruisin’ Coffee also suffered minor damage.

Hewett estimates the damage in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

 

Warehouse fire damages 3 Bellingham businesses

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A fire Sunday night in a warehouse in Bellingham’s Irongate industrial area affected three businesses.

The Bellingham Fire Department tweets that the fire was on Bakerview Spur.

The Bellingham Herald reports the fire was contained to Solid State Glass Supply, but smoke damaged two other units that house an auto repair shop and Heston Towing.

No one was hurt.

The cause is under investigation.
