A home near Nooksack catches fire, putting seven people on the streets, including two children.
The house on Gillies Road is nearly 100 years old.
The Bellingham Herald reports, one of the residents called 911 around 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Firefighters were able to douse the flames within minutes of arriving.
The Whatcom County Fire Marshal’s Office says it was an accidental fire caused by old wiring.
No one was hurt but the estimated amount of damage is $100,000.
