SEATTLE, Wash. — Doctors say the fire fighter who was badly burned in a Central Washington wildfire last week faces a long recovery.
Dr. Sam Arbabi told a news conference Thursday that Christian Johnson remains sedated in the ICU at Harborview Medical Center.
KOMO reports doctors continue to treat burns over 50% of Christian’s body along with breathing issues.
He was burned when flames overran his vehicle while he was helping to fight a brush fire in Okanogan County.

Christian, the Asst Chief of Okanogan County Fire Dist. 3, suffered 2nd & 3rd degree burns to more than 50% of his body while battling a fire earlier this month.
