ARLINGTON, Wash. – Hordes of visitors flocked to the reopening of a western Washington casino.

The Angel of the Winds Casino in Arlington reopened at 50% capacity Wednesday, making it the first casino to reopen in western Washington since the coronavirus pandemic began.

KING-5 reports just two hours after opening their doors, the parking lot was packed, and tribal police were asking drivers to turn around.

Safety measures, like mask requirements, have been put in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
