BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Anchorage, Alaska is joining the growing list of nonstop flights out of Bellingham offered by Allegiant Air.

Flights to Anchorage will be seasonal and start in May with two flights a week.

This addition means Allegiant will now offer nonstop service out of Bellingham to nine cities, either year-round or seasonal.

Port of Bellingham Director Rob Fix says he’s seen strong interest in service to Anchorage, especially from the commercial fishing industry.
