Travelers using Highway 20 through Rockport should expect 30 minute delays starting tomorrow.
In a news release from the Department of Tranportation, crews plan to repair the eastbound lane of SR 20. Rising river waters over Thanksgiving weekend eroded a portion of the bank below the highway.
One-way traffic will conintue to alternate throughout the westbound lane using a temportary traffic signal. Travelers should prepare for delays to last throughout the weekend.
The crews anticipate completing the work before Christmas but wet weather could delay the repair process.
