WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Heavy rain in the forecast has western Whatcom County under a flood watch.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says the increased precipitation will likely continue into Wednesday morning, March 2nd.
The avalanche danger extends throughout the Cascades and caused Snoqualmie and Stevens passes to close this morning.
The flood watch for Whatcom and Skagit counties is in effect until Wednesday at 3 p.m.
