OLYMPIA, Wash. — Flu activity in Washington State continues at its lowest in years.
For the new reporting season starting in October, the Department of Health reports no flu deaths statewide.
Each of the past four years had seen one, two, or three deaths by this time.
Flu diagnoses and visits to hospitals for persons reporting flu symptoms are at their lowest level compared with other years over that period.
