OLYMPIA, Wash. — Flu is on the rise in Washington State.
The Washington Department of Health flu reporting through December 14 listed 7 adult and 1 child deaths from the flu so far this season.
At this time last year, the total was 5.
Positive flu tests were up by roughly two thirds from the week prior.
The department reminds you to wash your hands and get the flu vaccine to prevent its spread.
