STANWOOD, Wash – Frozen vegetable processor Twin City Foods plans to close its packaging plant in Stanwood.
The Daily Herald reports some of the 85 employees will be transferred to plants in Pasco and Ellensburg, but others will either retire or be laid off.
Stanwood’s mayor says the closure is a blow to family-wage jobs in the city.
