GLACIER, Wash. — Mount Baker is about to get at least another foot of snow.
The National Weather Service is out with a Winter Storm Warning for the North Cascades area from Thursday night until 6:00 PM Friday, and they expect 12-18 inches of new snow to fall.
The Mount Baker Ski Area says Thursday will be a bit wet and windy before snow levels drop and a fresh blanket of snow comes down just in time for the weekend.
