BELLINGHAM, Wash. — On top of the snow we’ve already gotten, another Winter Storm Warning goes into effect from 4 PM Monday to 6 PM Tuesday.
The western Whatcom County lowlands are expected to get the brunt of the storm and the National Weather Service is expecting heavy snow with accumulations of up to 8 inches possible.
Snow drifts are already making travel difficult in some places and with the coming snow, travel is expected to become very difficult if not impossible.
The Weather Service urges that if you do drive in these conditions, to keep a flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
