EDMONDS, Wash. — A formal hearing to consider evidence related to the sinking of the Alaskan fishing vessel Scandies Rose began Monday.
The hearing focuses on the conditions influencing the vessel prior to and at the time of the sinking last New Year’s Eve.
Two crewmembers were rescued and five were not recovered after a search spanning over 20 hours.
The hearing will be streamed live each weekday through March 5th and will also be archived for viewing at a later time.
