BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A former Amazon financial analyst from Blaine was sentenced to 6 months in prison on Friday.
Brett D. Kennedy pleaded guilty, admitting he provided non-public quarterly financial results to a friend, who then purchased Amazon stock and sold it for profit.
Kennedy will have to pay $2500 in fines along with two years of supervised release for security fraud.
