Former Bellingham Bell David Banuelos named NWL Player of the Week

Former Bellingham Bell David Banuelos has been named the Northwest League Player of the Week for July 17th through the 23rd. The Everett AuquaSox catcher hit .450 with 18 total bases over 4-games during the current homestand.

Since July 8th, the 2017 Johnny Bench Award Finalist, has raised his batting average from .208 to .305. He also hitting .524 with runners in scoring position with 17 RBI’s.

Banuelos, who starred at Long Beach State University, was drafted by the Mariners in the 5th round of the MLB Draft in June, He played the 2016 season for the Bells.
