Olympia, Wash. – A Washington State regulator has sanctioned a Skagit County emergency medical technician.

The Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System regulates the competency and quality of EMT’s in our state.

Last month, the program amended charges against 41- year old Beau James France of Mount Vernon, to reflect his conviction in January on two counts of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

France’s EMT certification was suspended last August after charges were filed resulting from his arrest in June.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports France was employed by the Mount Vernon fire department at the time of his arrest and was placed on leave until he resigned last July.
