SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — A former Sedro-Woolley boy who has helped thousands of shelter dogs get adopted was named the ASPCA’s Kid of the Year for 2018, and on Thursday he sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about it.
7-year-old Roman McConn posts videos on YouTube to help shelter animals get adopted and has been doing this since he was 4.
Ellen had a surprise for Roman, awarding him the first ever Ellen Show Dog Rescuer Award, and a check for $20,000.
