Four Whatcom County H-S football teams in state quarters

Four Whatcom County high school football teams are alive heading into this weekend’s quarterfinal round of the state playoffs.  All four will be on the radio.

First up Friday night is the #1-ranked Lynden Lions.  They take on Highline at Civic Stadium.  That’s a 5:35 pre-game show and 6:00 kickoff on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.

Saturday at 3:00 Nooksack Valley faces Cashmere also at Civic Stadium and also on KPUG.  Coverage begins with a 2:35 pre-game on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.

Saturday at 4:00 the Ferndale Golden Eagles take on Eastside Catholic at Memorial Stadium in Seattle.  That’s a 3:35 pre-game show on AM790 KGMI and KGMI.com.

Also Saturday at 4 the Mount Baker Mountaineers go all the way to Spokane to battle Lakeside Nine Mile Falls.  It’s a 3:35 broadcast start and 4:00 kickoff on AM930 KBAI and 930KBAI.com.
