WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – With the 4th of July just around the corner, Whatcom County’s fire marshal is reminding residents to celebrate safely.

In a press release, County officials say consumer fireworks can be discharged between 6pm to 11pm on the 3rd and 5th and from 6 to midnight on the 4th.

Residents within city limits should check with their fire and law enforcement officials because each jurisdiction has different regulations.

Fireworks are banned in the City of Bellingham.
