SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — Seattle area Fred Meyer and QFC employees are complaining about a ban on “Black Lives Matter” buttons.

They say the ban violates federal labor law and their union contract.

On Tuesday, the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 21 filed an unfair labor charge with the National Labor Relations Board.

A spokesperson for the company declined to comment.
