BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Gas prices are a little less scary as Halloween comes to an end.
Triple A reports our average in Bellingham is $4.81 per gallon on Tuesday, November 1st, a dime less than a week ago and over 70-cents less than the record set on October 10th.
Diesel is also down 70-cents from the record.
Triple A credits lower demand and waffling global oil prices with the continued downward trend in what we are paying at the pump.
Refineries on the west coast are also now back online after reducing production during maintenance.
