BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Drivers are getting an early Christmas present with the lowest gas prices in months.
Bellingham’s current average is $3.46 per gallon.
That is 15 cents less than last week and a dollar below what we were paying a month ago.
It is also more than 30 cents less than we were paying for a gallon of gas last Christmas.
Triple A says oil prices are down about $50 per barrel from the highs of last spring.
That, along with decreased demand, could drive prices a bit lower before they level out.
