BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Gas prices continue their downward trend across the country and Whatcom County has some of the best prices in Washington state.
AAA reports that our average for a gallon of gas is hovering around $4.57.
That’s nearly a dollar lower than the record set back in June, when oil prices breached records across the globe.
We’re doing significantly better than the state average of $4.86.
But it’ll still be some time before our average comes close to the national average.
AAA says the average driver in the U.S. is paying $4.05 a gallon.
