BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The national average for a gallon of gas has surpassed another record high.
According to AAA, the national average is now sitting just above $5 a gallon for the first time in history at $5.01.
Here in Washington, we’re no strangers to prices above the $5 mark.
Whatcom County’s average price for a gallon is $5.50 as of this morning, Monday, June 13th.
The state average is running a few cents higher at $5.55.
