BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Some good news for Western Washington University students affected by the pandemic.
WWU says they received $5.8-million from the federal CARES Act they can expend over the next year as grants for Western students who have incurred expenses from disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
To receive the funding, students must meet a set of criteria and they must have filed a FAFSA in the last year.
An application form and CARES Grant frequently asked questions are on Western’s Financial Aid website.
