MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Three Mount Vernon teen boys were arrested and police are searching for a woman in connection with a shooting late Friday night.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports officers in the area on a separate call saw someone at a Mount Vernon residence fire shots after a car pulled up in front and several people got out.

Police caught the teens as they tried to run, but a 29-year-old Burlington woman, also suspected in the incident, got away. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Burlington Police and the Bellingham Police K-9 team, were called in to help.
