BELLINGHAM, Wash – It looked like a woman was about to jump off an I-5 overpass in Bellingham, but two men were determined to keep that from happening.
Lieutenant Don Almer said the distraught woman was on the Sunset Drive overpass Sunday afternoon and appeared to be in the process of leaping off into traffic.
The men were driving by, saw what was happening, stopped, jumped out of the car and grabbed the woman.
Officers came and took her to the hospital.
