SEATTLE, Wash. — Some gyms are defying Governor Inslee’s recent order to shut down again.
KIRO reports Lacy West Coast Fitness owner Nicolas Dunn is staying open, saying the employees and members were the reason they made that decision.
The state says the virus spreads indoors when people are unmasked and close together.

Tammy Colbert, owner of Vision Fitness and Health, says it’s so stressful because she doesn’t have the money to shut down and she would probably lose her gym if forced to close.
Gym owner Paul McClurg says .0024% of cases nationwide are coming out of gyms.
Complaints against gym owners could lead to an investigation and fines in the thousands, according to the state.
