BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Another local festival is off the calendar for this summer.
Haggen announced Friday they are canceling the Haggen Family 4th of July Celebration this year, following the guidance of public health authorities and government leaders.
The company says the pandemic has made planning for the festival difficult, with uncertainty surrounding sourcing of supplies and fireworks, and vendors unable to commit.
This would have been the 25th consecutive year for the festival.
