The Seahawks have signed veteran defensive end Aldon Smith to a one-year contract. The 31-year-old spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys. Smith has had several run-ins with the law during his career. He was suspended by the league between 2016-2019.
At his best Smith had 19 1/2 sacks for the San Francisco 49ers in 2012.
