FERNDALE, Wash. — A wrong way crash on I-5 at the Nooksack River in Ferndale sent two people to the hospital Sunday morning.
The State Patrol says Antar T. Plummer of Seattle was driving south in the northbound lanes at about 7:30 when he hit an oncoming car head-on and pushed it into another car near it.
Plummer and the 19-year-old Canadian man he hit were taken to the hospital.
The third driver was not hurt.
Troopers don’t know yet if drugs or alcohol were involved.
